BERLIN, GERMANY – Nov 4, 2024– Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is officially expanding Teremana Tequila, the ultra-premium, small-batch tequila, to the German market. The brand's entry into Germany is focused on sharing the unique spirit of Mana and connecting with a new audience of tequila lovers across the country. Marketing partner, Bray & Co has spread the word with ads and social media posts.
Mast-Jägermeister SE is the exclusive global distribution partner for Teremana, launching the brand in Germany in October. The rollout is part of an impressive global expansion that has brought the brand to the UK and Australia, with more countries to be added soon.
Sharing the Mana Worldwide
“Guten tag,” said Johnson. “Germany, I’m so excited that my baby, Teremana Tequila, is now here. When I created Teremana, the goal was to build a true international tequila for the world to enjoy, and Germany is a special place to raise a glass or stein. I hope you love this tequila as much as I do.”
What Teremana Stands For
Teremana, which translates to “spirit of the earth,” is built on the core ethos of “Mana.” Or good energy, community, and doing things the right way. This guiding principle is reflected in the quality of the tequila:
Handcrafted Process: The tequila is made in the Jalisco Highlands, starting with 100% Blue Weber agave, which is slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens and distilled in small copper pot stills. Johnson aimed to create the “highest quality, best-tasting tequila out there”.
Core Offerings: The portfolio includes Teremana Blanco, noted for its citrus notes and smooth finish; Teremana Reposado, which is aged in bourbon barrels for a rich, warm finish with a touch of oak; and Teremana Añejo, described as complex and sophisticated.
Consumers are invited to grab a bottle to share a moment of Mana with friends or ask their favorite bartender to shake up The People’s Margarita with Teremana. Johnson added, “I can’t wait to share a Teremana toast with you next time I’m back in Germany. Prost!”
