How We Hacked the Radio Format with Aloe Blacc
Our secret weapon? A creative partnership with Grammy nominee Aloe Blacc. As part of a larger integrated 360 brand campaign, we didn't just buy a radio spot; we "hacked" the format. By starting with a glitchy version of Blacc's song "Breakthrough," we mimicked a poor connection to grab the ears of listeners.
When the audio snapped into high-definition perfection, the message was clear: this is what a premium fiber connection sounds like. This "show, don't tell" strategy helped a utility brand inspire real engagement in a medium where ads are usually tuned out.
