About the Job 

We’re hiring a Technical Copywriter who writes with impact and who weaves our brands’ voices into everything they do. Our Copywriters have a lot of sway in our brand building and reputation – well beyond the written word. Their weeks might start with punchy headlines, social captions, and 30s TV scripts but they often veer into projects like refining shot lists for pre-production, meeting with strategists to shape brand narratives, and pitching 360 campaigns straight to clients. In other words, this is a wearing-many-hats kind of job.! 

We're hiring a Technical Copywriter to focus on teaming with Bray and Co.'s clients in technical, telecom, and related verticals. 

Industry Research & Content Creation

  • Stay informed on trends in clients’ fields and with their offerings  to develop compelling, insightful content; telecommunications is a primary focus area

  • Craft well-researched blog posts, web pages, and articles that break down complex topics for a tech savvy audience  

  • Use storytelling, real-world applications, and clear explanations to showcase clients' value and innovation

Social Media Strategy & Engagement

  • Partner internally and with clients to develop  content for clients'social media) accounts

  • Create engaging social media posts that reinforce brand identity and drive audience interaction

  • Maintain an active content calendar for activity including product launches, industry trends, and Bray & Co. initiatives

Content Editing & Quality Control

  • Review and refine marketing content to enhance clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy

  • Edit all  materials to uphold clients' brand voice and style guidelines 

  • Ensure messaging is polished, professional, and accessible while maintaining technical integrity

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal team members and clients’ technical and management staff to translate technical insights into digestible, engaging content

  • Adapt complex concepts into user-friendly formats while preserving depth and accuracy 

  • When relevant, integrate code snippets or API examples to illustrate technical applications

Brand Storytelling & Thought Leadership

  • Shape clients' industry presence by developing content that positions the company as a thought leader in telecom and cloud communications

  • Highlight clients' expertise and distinctive perspectives in all content

  • Strengthen brand credibility and engage a growing audience with compelling, insightful narratives

About Your Background

  • 2+ years experience with tech copywriting, , preferably in an agency or fast-paced creative environment with an emphasis on technical copywriting or as in in-house technical copywriter

  • Strong portfolio showcasing work across multiple platforms (digital, print, social, etc)

  • Ability to switch between different brand voices and writing styles effortlessly

  • Excellent grammar, editing, and eagle-eye proofreading skills

  • Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and content strategy is a plus

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Skilled in juggling multiple projects without dropping the ball—even when the clock is ticking
