Due to consistent growth, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager or Account Director with 5 - 7 years agency experience to work closely with one of our SVPs on a key client.
This role is ideally located in NYC but we are open to employing people in other locations. If the successful candidate is in the NY region, it will be a hybrid role with 4 days in the Inspiration Hub, 1 day working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strategic, high-trust relationships through clear, consistent communication and delivering value-driven insights
Share creative work with clients, gather feedback, and translate insights into effective, tailored solutions that advance both client objectives and agency goals
Provide clients with resources, updates, and tools proactively, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to collaboration and problem-solving
Lead client meetings with purpose, ensuring agendas are clear, follow-ups are documented, and progress is communicated effectively
Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns, continuously recommending strategic adjustments to enhance outcomes
Creative Strategy & Execution
Critically review creative work against briefs with a strategic and results-oriented perspective, ensuring alignment with broader client goals and agency objectives
Identify gaps in execution and provide innovative recommendations that improve project outcomes and enhance agency efficiency
Bridge the gap between creative and client services teams by ensuring briefs, feedback, and project goals are clearly understood, proposing actionable improvements when necessary
Consistently advocate for higher-quality solutions that drive superior client satisfaction and agency performance
Project Management
Proactively develop and independently manage detailed project timelines with minimal supervision, ensuring all stakeholders are fully aligned on deadlines and deliverables
Take high-level meeting notes, rapidly distilling key discussion points into clear, prioritized action items that drive momentum
Prepare feedback documents and efficiently coordinate internal/client teams
Oversee project workflow with authority and accountability, ensuring tasks are proactively assigned, tracked, and completed with exceptional quality and efficiency
Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes to optimize delivery and client satisfaction
Skills and Knowledge
5-7 Years Advertising Agency Experience: Ad agency experience across a range of accounts - telco, spirits and lifestyle are helpful
Client Management: Lead strategic communications, guiding clients to embrace Bray’s ideas to enhance their brand and grow accounts. Manage day-to-day matters at a senior level, anticipating issues and proactively resolving them. Persuasively present insights and recommendations to influence client decision-making.
Project Management: Skilled at managing diverse projects simultaneously, consistently delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Anticipates challenges and develops proactive strategies to mitigate risks.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrates proactive, forward-thinking organizational abilities, effectively leading others on projects to achieve the same.
Communication: Build strong client relationships through strategic guidance, issue resolution, and tailored recommendations. Align cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives
